Malton Food Lovers Festival 2012
21 May 2012
The annual Malton Food Lovers Festival was held this weekend and I was again involved as part of a fantastic team in planning and delivering the event. It was an amazing success, despite the weather, with an estimated 20,000 people coming along.
The event is now three years old and has grown into something really quite spectacular; Fitzwilliam (Malton) Estate have really got behind it and they should be congratulated.
The event was a celebration of everything Yorkshire including: 22 cookery demonstrations from a combination of local and well-known chefs; 90 + food stalls; 40 Yorkshire ales; 12 hours of live music from local brass bands; booking signings and interviews in a new ‘Masterclass Marquee’; amazing street food; and fantastic support from the Yorkshire Regiment.

Well done to the rest of the organising team: Ian Shepherd, Jeni Cropper, Elaine Lemm, Jan Devos and the Malton Estate Team
