Event Success

Wow, what a great event. We had more than 10,000 visitors over the weekend – all relaxing and enjoying the great food and drink on offer. The cookery theatres were great, every chef whether local or ‘celebrity’ had a full house – which is very impressive considering we had 18 cookery demos throughout the day.

The Beer and Wine Festival was also a huge hit – we sold nearly 3,000 pints of beer and cider and countless bottles of wine. The Milton Rooms looked great and were full for the entire two days (and one night) of the festival.

And even the weather held off, which was a huge relief to us all. The 98 food stalls all reported excellent sales and we are already receiving applications for next year. Which is planned to be even bigger and better!
